Water Droplet

For the water droplet shoot my shutter speed was 1/100, the iso was at the lowest setting 100, and the f/stop was at 2.8

To get the shoot up and running I had to first tape my backdrop to the backboard, then I filled the bowl with water almost up to the brim. After that I set up the camera equipment putting up the tripod and camera adjusting it to angle slightly downward to the bowl. The most important part of the process, in my opinion, was getting the speed of the droplets right, it could not be too slow or too fast.

My issues included getting the lights set up because I couldn't get them to sync and sometimes they would not go off. I also had a little trouble focusing because I kept accidentally bumping the camera.

My favorite part of the shoot was how relaxing it was, the isolation was nice it was just me, the camera, and the water. I also loved how I couldn't predict what the image would look like, each picture was unique.
